Module Overview
MagicNet is a root-managed sing-box TUN network workbench for Android devices. It handles traffic routing and proxying without utilizing the system VPN slot, relying on a dedicated magicnet0 interface to bypass standard app-side VPN service calls.
I like how it completely skips Android's native VPN API, keeping my system VPN slot open for other tools like ad blockers. Configuring per-app rules directly from the root shell gives me exact control over what hits the proxy, making the connection incredibly stable for daily use.
- Native protocol support lets you import Clash YAML, base64 strings, or share links for VLESS, VMess, Trojan, and Hysteria2.
- Per-app routing allows strict rule enforcement, letting you force specific applications to use the proxy, connect directly, or bypass the TUN entirely.
- Smart Wi-Fi toggling uses SSID/BSSID blacklists to automatically change proxy states when you move between different networks.
- Hotspot traffic control gives you the choice to route your tethered devices through the proxy or let them pass through directly.
